A listserve is an email interest group. With a listserve, you can send messages to everyone on the list at once to relay information or ask questions. The tucolib listserve was set up for students in the COS library technician certificate program classes. It has expanded to include anyone interested in school or public libraries in Tulare and Kings Counties.
To subscribe to tucolib
Send a message to majordomo@linux.tcoe.k12.ca.us Put nothing in the subject box and only two words
subscribe tucolib
in the body of the message. For best results, format your message in plain text (go to format, plain text before sending.)
To send messages to the list
Send messages to tucolib@list.tcoe.k12.ca.us
When you respond to a message, and you want your response to go to the whole list, you need to type in the address above. Otherwise, your reply will only be seen by the person who wrote the message.
